Rob is the EMA Partner in Charge of the IT Advisory Practice at KPMG. The EMA Practice represents over 3,500 staff, a business with fees in excess of US$600,000 million. Rob also leads the ITA practice in the Netherlands and is member of the Advisory leadership team in the Netherlands.
Relevant Experience
Rob has a career spanning more than 22 years in IT advisory and assurance. His specialisations include IT governance, IT attestation. IT internal and external audit support. His key clients include multinationals and some major regional clients. Rob is global ITA lead partner for a few major global Advisory accounts and lead partner for a Dutch multinational. Rob is thought leader in the IT governance and IT assurance space. As a professor in IT auditing he lectures at one of the top universities in the Netherlands.
Background
Rob received his Master in Information management, Accountancy and IT auditing at the University in Tilburg, Netherlands. His Ph.D. project was also finalized at that University. He is also a member of a number of major professional bodies including Dutch Institute of Accountants and IT Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He is also a Chartered Accountant in Netherlands.
