Dr.-Ing. Torsten Lodderstedt has been working in the identity management space at Deutsche Telekom for the last nine years. In his current position, he leads the team responsible for development and operation of various services for identity management, customer & contract management, and payment, which enable retail and business products of Deutsche Telekom business units and partners. He also regularly contributes Deutsche Telekom’s experiences and perspective as a subject-matter expert at standardization bodies and cross-operator initiatives. He chairs the MODRNA working group at the OpenID foundation, which provides specification to GSMA’s Mobile Connect initiative. He is a contributor to the OAuth 2.0 und OpenID Connect specifications and author of the OAuth 2.0 threat model and security considerations. In his previous positions as consultant and IT architect, he helped customers in several domains (public, banking, railway communication, telecommunication) since 1996 to implement highly scalable and secure applications. Torsten Lodderstedt received his Ph.D in computer science from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg. His main areas of expertise include identity management, IT security, software engineering tools and methods as well as software architectures.
